a Church of Seiros Pinup zineBased off an extant in-game quest item from Fire Emblem Three Houses, The Tome of Comely Saints will take the form of a not-for-profit, digital soft NSFW art book with imagery inspired by the aesthetic and esoteric elements of Catholic art history. Points of inspiration: erotic martyrdom, idolatry, sin, holy wounds, secular saints, aesthetic excess.
Concept
The Tome will feature all the adult-appearing Saints from the Church of Seiros's canon, as well as characters of faith and affiliation with the Church. Should interest support it, we will include short fiction interspersed between the images.More "classic" pinups are welcome, but we invite you to draw inspiration from the themes listed in our header.We are including the following characters. Seiros/Rhea and Cichol/Seteth will be represented in two illustrations: their Age of Heroes saints, and their "modern" day clergy persona.-Seiros

applicants must be 18 years of age or above. Artists should submit a portfolio of 3-8 works, containing highlighting three fully-rendered samples with backgrounds that they consider their best work of a sensual or erotic nature. Backgrounds can be environmental, impressionistic, or architectural. At least one sample should include a character from fe3h, and at least one sample should contain content considered soft-NSFW, or artistic nudity.Portfolios will be evaluated on the artist's command of anatomy, color, and composition. applicant pitches will have a bearing on acceptance into the zine.

Q: Will this zine include ship-related content?A: This is not a shipping-focused zine, but multi-character scene illustrations that tell a story that is open to interpretation are preferred.Q: How NSFW is The Tome of Comely Saints
A: We are keeping it sensual/erotic/pinup focused. Nudity is permitted, but depictions of sex acts and extreme kinks are not.Q: Can my portfolio contain the elements previously listed?
A: Yes, but it must be appropriately labeled in your application, and please note that you will be asked to bring those skills to a more softcore style.Q: Will you include multiple illustrations for the same character?
A: Each depicted Saint or clerical character will have one central illustration, but should interest arise, we may include sketch/study interludes that relate to the theme and depict the characters. ie: if accepted to the zine you'll be drawing one character/pitch as your assignment, but are welcome to include busts/sketches/other content related to a second character if you are so inspired.Q: Are you including writing?
